Mossberg 464 lever gun
Just got one in that when the trigger is pulled (with safety on or off) the firing pin does not even dent the primer. Anyone had any experience with these?
Re: Mossberg 464 lever gun
It sounds like it's time to pull the pin on the warranty. (pun intended)

464's are rebounding hammer types for better or worse.
You can actually pull the trigger with the safety on and drop the hammer as if you were firing but not make the connection.
I hate to even ask this and I mean no disrespect, but years of customer service has trained me to ask the most obvious question first:
Is the safety even off? As indicated on the tang by a red dot. If it is engaged (no red dot) then you can pull the trigger all day long and drop the hammer but never even touch the round.
