Post by dogngun »

A Colt revolver and Colt automatic pistol used by Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were sold at an auction in New Hampshire...

I'm sure that is more money than they ever made using those guns...

I had hopes that someone would post about this today. I heard about the auction on the radio this morning but a static crash at that second was louder than the announcer's voice when he was talking about the price on the guns. I did get the 36K on the watch.

Thank you,

There was a segment on the CBS Evening Snooze with Scott Pelley last week. Jim Axelrod was the reporter and was being shown the 1911 by an individual at the auction house. You should have seen the way he handled it! :o Waving it around, pointing it toward the camera and the reporter....unbelievable and good thing it wasn't loaded. Those same people that always preach safe gun handling may the very same ones who end up plugging someone.

Yea, ain't that somethin'? :D But.......not surprising though.........good guns only go up in value.

I was more intrigued with Butch Cassidy's single action Colt.

I bet Bonnie's Detective Special sure is happy to be out of that dark nasty place where it was all taped up. :D ------------Sixgun
