Anyone here ever go to RugerForum.com? The were doring some sever switching, but now it's just blank. Is it me or?

Google or Bing "RugerForum.com", got one white page on one link, but found them on other links... :)

They did an upgrade and the old link just leads to a blank page. Use 336bl's link and it works fine.

Sounds like there is still work in progress there.

My old link leads me straight to the forum. Drab, boring and empty looking.
Hope they do something with it.

OK - what's the difference in the two 'main' Ruger forums I keep coming across...

I think one is an 'com' and one is a 'net', but anyone familiar with them enough to comment on the differences in content or whatever...?????????????

I am a member of both. Both talk about Rugers and other things. They are similar except when it comes to the rules and moderators. The TRF.net is a lot more strict in many ways. Basically just a different attitude and atmosphere there.

I visit both forums and I am registered on both. The only thing I know about the two is one (Rugerforum.com) denies any affiliation or association with Ruger except a common interest. The Rugerforum.net may have an affiliation with Ruger because the site uses the Ruger emblem. There may have been a law suit at one time or at least some bone of contention between the two, it has been sometime since I heard anything about it. In my opinion the (.net) site seems to be a little more technically correct, but I really don't know. I see no real difference in the way the sites are administered.

Re the site problem, we received a "notification" the other day stating that they'd outgrown the server and were working on it--perhaps looking for a new server and that, to paraphrase, "it might take awhile.". In don't know much about the .net site other than many on one think the other (whatever site they're a member on) is much better of course

...All I know is the .com site's a fine one IMO.

They got mad and shut down the site when they found out all of the good flattops are here on leverguns.

They've still got a few issues. I keep getting bumped out after a few minutes. Some message about the board being unavailable. But better than a few days ago.

Still getting kicked to a message that the board is disabled after a couple of minutes. They keep this up and they will start loosing forum viewers.

Still (again) working for me ("smart phone"). Give it some more time to work out the glitches, it's a good site--along with Leverguns, one of the better ones IMO.
