More Elk Stag grips... On a 1911 this time!
"Hello. My name is Old No7, and yes... I am addicted to Elk Stag grips..."
This forum has seen my past postings of the Elk Stag grips that I've added to my Ruger SP101, GP100, the other SP101 (all grip inserts) and then later the (Uberti) S&W Schofield top-break. Recently, my Kimber Eclipse .45 was feeling a little left out, so I decided to do something about that...
I found Will Jennings of Wyoming online and really liked what I saw for grips on his website, as my prior stag dealer didn't make any 1911 grips. Will was very helpful with the e-mails that we exchanged, and soon a deal was struck. He did an awesome job on these grips and went out of his way to find a heavy "barked" piece of antler big enough to make me a matching set like I wanted.
Here they are, with the left and right sides done in very different lighting, so you'll get a good view of how they really look: To say I am pleased is an understatement... They are awesome to me! And Will's turnaround time was fantastic too.
Here's a pix of what Will had sent me to "approve" the grips before they were mailed out to me... Approve??? Oh yeah! That picture helped feed "my addiction" for sure! Just click on the embedded link above to get to Will's site, and if you do order grips from him, I'm quite sure you'll be as pleased as I am. Will is a gentleman to deal with, and a true craftsman.
Tight groups!

You picked one good addiction to have! The only addiction I can think of that might be better is LEVERGUNS!

Sweet! I share your love of stag grips. Heck, you've fed my addiction on this front (and others)!
