Urgent Prayer Request

Fellas -

My 16-year old nephew just got out of heart surgery. They thought it was going to be a "relatively" simple procedure to repair a tear in the heart that he has had since birth. This is apparently a genetic condition, as his Dad, my BIL, had the same issue. When they went in though they found it to be much more serious. They actually said his heart looked like "Swiss cheese" and were surpised he had not experienced heart failure beforehand. They repaired his heart, and he is out of surgery, but he has an awfully long road ahead of him. If you can drop a knee-mail for John Otte, that he recover fast and fully, and for his immediate family, I'd greatly appreciate it. This boy has been through a lot family-wise lately, so this was the last thing he needed.

Power of prayer is a wonderful thing!

John was able to get out of bed today, and walk a bit around the hospital. Amazing, when you think about it. At this rate, he'll be home in a few days. Will probably spend most of the summer mending up, so please keep the prayers coming.
