Going to be leaving South Dakota next week to head back to Colorado Springs for another tour. We are going to miss the Blackhills and all it has to offer. We spent a wonderful 5 years here. From the sounds - errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr reading of it, it seems that both you and your wife are in the service. If that's the case, retirement will be great for you.

At least you aren't going to Illinois!

I always thought moves were a pain (and I'd been raised with 13 moves by the time I was 18 BEFORE I joined the Army). Still, one gets to see new things and start almost all over again each move.

Hobie

I only PCS'ed once: from college in Los Angeles to San Diego, fit everything I owned into my 1958 Morris Minor. Life was simple in those days ....

Thats why I am moving my own guns. The head guy packing asked if they were going to move them as they would be more than happy to do so. No thanks. I have experienced in the past how they treat furniture and other goods.

And yes, my wife and I are both active duty. She use to out rank me, but I passed her on the last stripe. However, she is still the boss
