If you come down US 85, give me a holler. We should be able to figure out lunch...Mich hunter wrote:Well the time has come again for the wife, kids and I to pack up and head on. Movers are here boxing up everything (except the guns and ammo ). Going to be leaving South Dakota next week to head back to Colorado Springs for another tour. We are going to miss the Blackhills and all it has to offer. We spent a wonderful 5 years here. What a beautiful place. Hopefully this is the last move before he wroth hit our 20yr mark. Colorado here we come......again

One of the bestest Motorcycle rides I ever took was US 50 west to east in Colorado....stunning. Best of luck on your move...(I had 9 PCS in 20 years... ...it gets old after awhile)

From the sounds - errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr reading of it, it seems that both you and your wife are in the service. If that's the case, retirement will be great for you.

Good luck with the move.
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.
Re: OT-Military moving time again
At least you aren't going to Illinois!
I always thought moves were a pain (and I'd been raised with 13 moves by the time I was 18 BEFORE I joined the Army). Still, one gets to see new things and start almost all over again each move.

Re: Military moving time again
Thats why I am moving my own guns. The head guy packing asked if they were going to move them as they would be more than happy to do so. No thanks. I have experienced in the past how they treat furniture and other goods.JReed wrote:Ah PCS how I love thee have a safe trip hopefully DMO doesnt break to much stuff.
And yes, my wife and I are both active duty. She use to out rank me, but I passed her on the last stripe. However, she is still the boss
