Green and yellow tractor mower

Post by crs »

Grandson up on tractor showing off green and yellow paint job on PTO finish mower:
Image

Two of the three belt shields were missing on my used mower when I purchased it along with the tractor last year,so a metal fabricator made them for me last week. Naturally, they had to be painted and one thing to another until the entire mower had been primered and then painted to match the tractor. It does not look bad for a 20+ year heavily used old mower, if I do say so myself.

Sure is pretty.

A young man on a tractor sittin' inthe shade. There's no cloud of dust behind that rig.

What's wrong with this picture?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

It has been to wet to plow or to kick up dust. Just wait till summer gets here though. :(

Streetstar,
It is a John Deere 650 . Just the right size for our few acres of pasture.

Thanks for flowers on mower paint job. That was one of those projects that took many more hours than planned, but came out OK.

Like crs said: too wet. I got my tractor stuck while trying to mow around the outside edge of my 5 acre pasture. tractor is a 4 wheel drive ka-boat-ta. Had to have son give me a tug with his 4 wheel drive tundra. but then we are on the "wet side" of Washington State.

Still recognizeable , eh?

It should be safer now with the added shields and does look much better with no rust showing. So much better that I will now have to put fresh paint on some of the rear parts of the tractor.
