Re: JReed ??
Still here. Haven't been playing with my toys much. Messed up my throwing and shooting arm a couple months ago so been doing physical therapy trying to avoid knife work. I still read the forum most days just haven't had much to say. Not looking forward to my Ortho follow up this coming Tuesday.
I have been able to get out and do some fishing with my boys and plan on catching some blue crabs with them this Saturday. You are more then welcome to come on down and enjoy the cookin

The left arm is my stupid arm. The only thing I trust it to do right is carry heavy stuff.

Re: JReed ??
Now is a good time to learn to shoot left handed! It can be helpful when hunting.
BTW JR, you will appreciate this. My son got out of the corp last Nov. He and his wife are going to the Bahamas the first week of May. He got muster orders from the corp for something to do with IRR for the day they are leaving! It's like they just know when something gets planned! They are letting him out of them.

Okay Gunny that sets off my BS alarm. Remember two kids that were/are Marines, I know you can shoot with either hand. Seriously, do what you can to avoid the knife. It seems ever if they fix things twenty or thirty years later they still end up hurting.JReed wrote:The left arm is my stupid arm. The only thing I trust it to do right is carry heavy stuff.

Re: JReed ??
Jeremy, I'm sorry to hear that. I've been doing physical therapy since the car accident last month. No fun, but helping out. Irritates me that I just don't bounce like I did 20 years ago (heck, 10 years ago). You won't recognize me when we next see one another. I've dropped 35 pounds since we saw one another last.JReed wrote:Still here. Haven't been playing with my toys much. 35lbs! You aren't that big of a guy time to eat junk food and get back to fighting weight. So far done 5 weeks of physical therapy with no improvements. The physical therapist scheduled the MRI have a follow up with the orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday he will want one also. Makes ya kind of nervous when those two folks are scratching their heads. We shall see what next week brings.Ysabel Kid wrote:Jeremy, I'm sorry to hear that. I've been doing physical therapy since the car accident last month. No fun, but helping out. for more then a second with out a lot of pain. The ortho specialist thinks it might be a torn labrum or bicep tendon.

Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes.

I needed to dorp the spare tire. My back just wasn't getting any better. Glad I did; I'm sure strengthening my core helped in the car accident. I'm seeing my orthopedic surgeon Tuesday. Hopefully both of us will have good news!JReed wrote:35lbs! You aren't that big of a guy time to eat junk food and get back to fighting weight.
