Picked this up yesterday
Took him with my bow back in Sept, sept 21st if I remember right. Not a record or anything but he's the biggest buck I'v ever goten so I had him mounted.

I once read an article that stated any deer taken with a handgun could be considered a trouphy. Me thinks the same could be said for deer taken with a bow, maybe even more so.

Sept of THIS YEAR ? ? How did you get it mounted so quickly - RI taxidermists typically are so busy, that delivery is 12-18 mos.

A local retired cop turned conservation officer does them. He started as a hobby and was good at it so turned it into a small business. He only does deer for the most part and doesn't advertize. The price was very reasonable too judging by other people I'v talked to.
If I brought him one now it'd be up to a year because theres a couple dozen waiting to be done. Mine was the first one this year & I imagine they go quicker working on one that on a handful.

Nice buck, just goes to show the early bird gets the worm! I am expecting my buck will almost a year to get it back.
