FYI;
Big 5 contracts with Marlin and buys a large qty. of these pieces. The stocks are a hardwood stained to look like Walnut. They are O.K. shooters but do have some fit & finish issues. They are very rough out of the box and need some minor adjustments now and then. However for the price they are an excellent piece.

Range report
It was dark when I got home with this new toy.. but living out in the desert and no near neibors,, I took it out on the deck and fired five shots into the ground just to check for function.. NO JAMB, NO PROBLEMS!.. real smooth.. got a chance to target this evening, first two shots at 65 yds touching each other! open sights, and sixty year old eyes.. couple of clicks elevation, got 'er right in the bull with a 3/4 inch group.. I'd say, look out piggies, deer, or what ever... , and thanks for the kind welcome.. Les
