Hello

Post by bajabill »

New member here, but have knocked around quietly for a while.

I parted with my first rifle, a Kmart special Marlin-Glenfield a while back and have since added a Navy arms 1873 replica. It does not see much action however. I am seriously considering a Rossi 92 - 45 colt, as my next addition.

I'll find a Brazilian gun to trade you. I've had better luck with 44-40 than 45 colt.

thanks,

Not a lever, but in the spirit of the old stuff, here is my poor mans sharps  HR Buffalo Classic, reamed to 45-90 and an 1858 reproduction. I shoot the fake black out of the 45-90.

You sure picked a nice levergun to start with...!

AND the Rossi .45 Colt is a real nice one to get too.

I like the simplicity of design/repair of the Marlins, but the Rossi's are alot easier to find these days. You'll likely wind up with one of each before the dust settles...
