Prayers Up For Pete

Mrs. Pete sent an email, and Pete is not doing well at all. Very, very sick with cancer and liver is shutting down.

I get reminded more and more everyday to say and do what needs to be said and done. :(

Prayers definitely up for Pete. Cancer is an ugly thing that quite often strikes from out of the blue. We can live the cleanest of lives, yet have no control over what may befall us. :(

Prayers up for Pete; I hate to see this happen to so many nice folks. 'Our' generation may be the last one which has seen this nation 'before' and 'after' the many negative changes, and we have to be sure to pass along our experience as best we can, so maybe our kids/grandkids don't forget what things were once like, and could be so again. Already too many electorate have never seen a world without the Nanny State. I don't mean to get too political, but the illnesses now affecting the 'boomers' have not only tragic consequences for their loved ones, but will shape our nation's future in many ways.

Prayers up therefore for Pete, his family, and our generation/nation as a whole...
