We're settin'-up our online fireamrs business now. I'd like to know what firearms poeople on this forum beleive are most in demand these days, be it a lever, shot gun, handgun, etc., etc. Just input on what you believe is selling out there.

In the shop I work at... caveat there... we have been selling more handguns than anything else for quite a while. Most long guns are either collectible OR home-defense shotguns. Just a smattering of other things.

Everyone around here is getting carry permits and becoming a first-time handgun owner, so catering to them would be good.

I always encourage the newbie handgun owner to buy a PAIR of handguns, including a .22 LR in the same format, so they have a gun to learn/practice with. Maybe you could 'specialize' in that.

Lots of people might like the idea of buying a used .22 LR handgun to shoot awhile then sell back to you for a centerfire of the same design; you could continue to re-sell the .22 LR's many times for not that much money, encouraging people to 'get into' shooting, too.
