I'm thinking of selling mine, please talk me out of it. But I want to know to know about how much it is worth. It's in .32 Win specl. Manufacturers date was 1936. 11000xx. Bore is worn but has more life left in it than me. Shiny, with no dark spots. Orginal buckhorn sights. Never been drilled or tapped and really don't look to be monkeyed around with too much. I don't think/know if the shellac is original on the stock. Seems too glossy and thick. Stock is cracked but not broken and has the original butplate on it. She has been used but not abused. Originally it was a case hardened but most has worn off.
Thanks again guys,

+ 1 on both. The shellac drops the value a tad, as does the crack in the stock (which is really dependant on where it's at). But, if it was really CCH'd originally, that would be rather, more like really rare on any of the mdl 94 derivatives. Sometimes, worn bluing can appear to be very old CCH, but isn't. If it was originally CCH'd, you'd probably still be able to see good color inside the action where friction hasn't worn it off. If it's blue inside, it was blue outside.

There is a fine line between hobby & obsession! AND... I'm over it!!
No I ain't ready, but let's do it anyway!
The model 64 is a Hunting/offhand shooters Rifle. it isn't as light and handy as a carbine for a reason. it was designed to be shot in the field offhand as a Hunting Rifle, and when You bring it up and cheek the stock all the lights come on right now.............................................................
The barrel is longer, the buttstock straighter with alot more weight in the butt. I would value Yours at $700.00.
Thanks guys! I bought cause it’s one of the more rare ones and well I’m sucker for lever action. I really don't want to sell it. Without bellyaching too much I lost my job about a year ago. I pulled money I shouldn't have to buy it. Well my wife works and we have been doing ok up till this last couple weeks. We have been in our current house for almost 11 years and well, I can tell you that almost everything will break about then! First it was the pressure tank, then some electrical work, and I need work done to my truck. I have an interview Monday for a job I don't want to do, but I'm going to put on my big boy pants and happy face cause I need the job. If I can land it I will not be selling. But otherwise the bills are coming due and I ain’t got the MONAY. I’ve already sold and Ortgies pistol that I adored.
I thought it went well today, they did not tell me I had the job though. They said if I do not recieve a letter in the next couple days I will passed on to the hiring pool. At that time it could be a few days or months for a job.
