Makes me think of the scene in the movie Second Hand Lions where the two old characters were "fishing" with their shotguns. A shotgun ought to work pretty well on those jumping carp!

Evidently, an old canal lock is all that's keeping those carp from the Great Lakes, where it would destroy a great fishery. Also, the snake heads are spreading from several points where the Asians brought them in to flourish so they could sell them. At least, they are good to eat. :|

I'm not sure what the point of that is, but people do eat carp. You can find it in the grocery store in the ethnic food section along with the other Hebrew foods. They call it gefiltefish.

Humorous but not at all funny.

Those things are gonna destroy both sport & commercial fishing in the Great Lakes.

We almost lost our fishing when alewife fish came in through bilge water discharges from ocean-going vessels. We need to curtail these fish NOW.
