Where'd all these Marlins come from?

I was putting my new 336D/ .35 Rem away and noticed I'm getting a nice
collection of Marlins going.



Rifle on top is Kid #2's '74 vintage 336/ .35 Remington
Next one down is my 1970 336 / .35 Rem.
Below that is the new 336 D/ .35 Rem I got from the classifieds.
Number 4 is my 1895M / .450 Marlin that I got for Christmas a few years ago.
Next is my favorite of the bunch, LTD III in .45-70. Super shooter!!
Number 6 is the model 30 TK / .30-30 I picked up at a show last year for $200.
Seven is a model 94P / .44 Mag that I take just about everywhere.
Last are the 39s. A 1970 LTD and a '57 vintage that has become my favorite .22 lr.

Just something to do on a rainy day off.

Very nice Jason. I have four Marlins and have decided I don't need anymore....Now a shooter I know has a model 36ADL for sale that looks like new,but I must resist....

I think if you put the right two of them in your gun safe alone overnight, with just a spritz or two of Hoppe's to set the mood, you can get them to BREED. (...Leastways that's what I tell my wife has been happening, so as to explain how come more of them keep turning up... )

Okay, you Marlin guys... I need some help. I'm getting ready to acquire a new project, and need help. I finally found a donor gun to make my pre-safety .45Colt/C45S Widderma'jik. Should have it by the middle of next month. It's a rusty lump, but a new .45Colt Cowboy Competition barrel comes with it. I need to convert the current mag tube to use under the octagon barrel. Can you show the details of how Marlin does that?

Are the 1894 versions done the same as my 375 Marlin?

We "is" gonna hook up this year at one match or another. So.........get one sighted in for 50,100,150, & 200. Then get a pistol calibered one sighted in for 40,50,75, & 100, along with a rimfire at the same distances. No excuses. Because we are MEN! Having over a million hunters and about that many gunshops and ranges helps too. Plus, liberal politicians are banned anywhere outside of Philly and Pittsburg.

Nice collection! Mighty fine. I only have one Marlin. A 1895GS 45-70/457 WW Mag. Custom. I haven't taken a Pic of her yet. The Doc's right and so are you. They are a lot easier to disasemble and clean vs. the Winchester levers.
