Still alive in Texas

Post by eric65 »

Reporting in, Coyoties hain't got me yet. Nothing really going on here until we take over training from the outgoing unit on Saturday. :|Spent some time at the Border Patrol museum in ElPaso and have made several attempts to visit ElPaso Saddlery with no sucess.

Eric, what was the problem with El Paso Saddlery? The door is often very tight and feels like it is locked.I try to stop in there several times a year to check on any seconds or mistakes at discounted prices.Usually some good deals.Stop in at Collectors Gun Exchange on Mesa (west side of town). Not many lever guns but probably the best gun shop in town. You might also check out El Paso Gun Club; $36/year.

I am happy to report that I found El Paso saddlery, Everything that I saw there was top of the line as far as quality and workmanship. Now if I could just figure out how to get out of this Maxican jail.... 8)

A place you definitely do NOT want to be. My first duty station was Biggs AFB in El Paso (Now Biggs AAF) 18 years old and green as a gourd. Myself and 3 other jeeps spent 3 days and nights as a guest of the mayor of Juarez, having been busted for having too much fun in a cantina.
