Met Soon 2 retire

Post by JReed »

We had a gun show here this weekend so hit up Soon 2 retire to see if he wanted to meet up and drool over some guns. It was great meeting him finally :D

Saw a few guns I would normally gone home with but the wife gave me a direct order to buy nothing :( so in the interest of domestic tranquility I went home empty handed. Lots of mil-surp some decent some junk. I was impressed that there were a lot of levers.

All in all a nice way to spend the afternoon.

Jeremy, it was a good way to spend an afternoon for me also. Talk about multitasking, I enjoyed watching you take in the gunshow; impart some of your knowledge to your two young Tae Kwon Do friends; while riding herd over two energetic young boys. I hope a Shiloh Sharps Quigley or a Winchester 30-30 musket like the one at the show make it to your teepee someday soon. Great finally meeting you.

Yea I did have a couple irons in the fire. :D
That Winchester 94 musket was a beauty. First one I had ever seen in person someday I will take one home. The Quigley Sharps will wait 5 years and be a self bought retirement present to my self.

Hopefully They will have another show before we move and we can do it again. Nothing else we can grab a cup of coffee.

Isn't that always the case? No matter what our rank is, the wife always seems to outrank us?
