I went on a European Pheasant Shoot, today, which usually involves some fast shooting, from time to time. We had a great time, and my gun of choice for this kind of shooting, has always been the Browning A5. Mine never missed a lick, and I would have been really surprised if it had, and I am proud to say, not one bird in my zone of fire got away, all day.
18 of us showed up for the shoot, and there was an assortment of guns, but IMHO, not a single one out classed the wonderful old Browning humpback.
The Browning A5 is around 100yrs old now, as is the 1911 and as far as I am concerned both of them are still at the top of the heap.
