I have sinned OT

Post by canonsix »

A guy I loaned some money to was unable to pay me back,so he gave me the quintessential EBR,in payment. FN FAL ,7.62x51,barrel shortened to 18 inches and a real good flash hider, now for the SIN, I am keeping it.  Doug

COOL!

Just keep the Marlins and Winchesters from seeing it and you'll be ok! :D

Very fun guns!
Looks like you loaned the $$ to the right guy.

WOW, you did better than I ever have, Most the time when I loan money I never see the money or anything. Oh well, If you want to redeem yourself of such sin you must say 3 hail mary's and send that evil thing away, and Texas should be just about far enough away. :D

The FAL is a fine rifle canonsix. I've got several and they are pretty much unbreakable. You can find out anything you ever wanted to know about them at http://www.falfiles.com there's some very knowledgeable FAL builders there.

Nice! The FAL was the first battle rifle I fell for. :D

How is the receiver marked? I can see it's got Brit furniture but if it's a Century built weapon it may have a metric receiver instead of an inch receiver. No biggie other than magazine compatibility.

After searching I find it is a Aussie, manufactured in '68, I only hope it served with the RAR in their incursions in sunny SEAsia. Doug
