OT- Check out what the Kid brought me!

Post by 2ndovc »

Kid # 2 went to Spain for his high school senior trip for Spanish class.

I gave him some extra spending money and what does he do? Buys me something really cool!!
Toledo, Spain was part of the tour. He bought a really neat copy of Excalibur for himself and
spent the money I gave him on this one.
What a booger!! :D

I've been toting it around the house like a new levergun!

What a good kid.

Congrats on a fine boy and a fine sword. Now, all you need is a room full of watermelons!

He and several other boys that bought swords packed them into one box and split the
"extra baggage fee". He had some words with one of the parents that also went on the trip.
She wanted to take his box but he stood his ground until their teacher arrived.
I'm very proud of him for sticking up for himself.

Got a good kid there. I picked one up in Toledo when I was stationed in Spain. Sure ain't the country I was in, anymore. And, mores the pity. While Franco may have been a dictator, you could walk down the streets at night without any problems. After he died, the country loosened up, way too much. Lots of drug and other crime problems these days.

Let me get this right... Blondie is old enough to have had a kid that is old enough to travel to Spain and buy TWO swords... :?: :?: Second wife?

Si Senior!

She doesn't look her age by a long shot. And her oldest boy is 20!!

It is the second time around for both of us. We both married young for all the Wrong reasons.

She's a real lady and keeper for sure!!
Not sure why she puts up with me.

That's really cool. Now you need to go pig hunting with dogs so you can stick one.
