New Holster from Simply Rugged...

Post by Boge Quinn »

...when Jeff reviewed Rob's croc-hide holster (http://www.gunblast.com/SimplyRugged-Croc.htm) it really flung a craving on me. Since I'd just bought a 5" Navy Schofield "Wells Fargo" model, I ordered a full-flap "Flip Top" croc-skin holster from Rob. The "Flip Top" is cool and versatile, as are all Rob's designs - the flap can be unsnapped (like a conventional flap holster), it can flip out of the way for the draw, or it can be easily removed and worn without the flap.

A friendly and attractive representative of the Federal Gummint just brought me a Priority package from Ol' Rob, and there she was, purty as a pitcher. Some fast turnaround, and a beautiful job - thankee, Rob!

Hey Boge, at least he got yours sewn right. That one he did for Jeff was plumb backwards!

Once more Rob did a great job. That croc skin stuff is simply purty along with rugged.

Rob gets better and better and it drives me crazy buying pistols trying to keep up with his new offerings.

Dang, that's real nice.

Personally I would get it without the flap, but that's only because I only shoot on the range and not out in the woods.

Sharp!!

I hope your Wells Fargo Schofield works better than the one I had! Worst awful shooter I ever had. Timing was off,
over size bore, God awful roll mark on the barrel. "MANUAL AVAILABLE AT WWW.NAVYARMS.COM". I was FLOORED!!!
Tackiest thing I've ever seen. Wouldn't have been bad if it would shoot worth a dang!!

I'm glad to say mine is a dandy shooter, and does not have those offensive roll markings!

I like a flap holster, but not all the time. That's why it's cool that the flap on Rob's snaps right off if you want.

Last week I received my Sourdough holster for my 627 Pro. Great holster. Less is certainly more.

Beautiful, Boge! Looks like a very practical holster with a fancy outfit on. Seems like I need the visit the Simply Rugged site again and see what else they have that might work for me. Thanks for the post.
