Leverevolution powder to be available
I doubt I'll be rushing out to find it but more choices are always good.

Re: Leverevolution powder to be available
I for one will think it'll be fun to try to duplicate the factory velocites and see if I can keep accuracy where it is now. Frankly, very few powders give their best accuracy at maximum velocities anyway... but to get a coupla hundred feet per second increase would be nice for just a little longer viable distance.

This is good news to hear, thanks victor. I can't help but think that this could also be of use to those who reload for the .30-30 Ackley!

It that powder will boost velocities for those who use the gummy tips, it should work just dandy for regular bullets too.

Don't know what is happening with the smaller cartridges like 30-30 and 35Rem but the stuff in the 45-70 is no magical pixie dust. Several powders will do what it does at the same or less pressure.

That was my first thought as well! It would be pretty sweet to get a 150 gr. bullet moving out at 2650-2700 fps!

Re: Leverevolution powder to be available
I'm looking forward to it. Recently the LE ammo seems to not be of the same quality as the stuff made in 2007 and 2008.
The most recent 338ME I've bought causes a sticky extraction about every 3rd or 4th round and there is a noticeable difference in the recoil when it happens.
Some people bought LE ammo when it first came out and got good results in their 30-30's and 35 remmies and are now getting inconsistent groupings and other issues.
Maybe trying to keep up with factory ammo demand has caused some quality control issues in either the loads or the bullets used in the LE ammo.
Have my Lee 338 dies on order (group buy through ranch dog) and am "creating empty brass" at this time.
