When Did S&W stop Counter Bore or counter sunk whatever you call them cyl on the Revolvers? I have two that have it, a model 13 .357 and a model 57 .41
I was just wondering as when I regestered them many years ago the police officer made a big deal and really liked them as they had the counter bored cyl. Said they are hard to come by as both were unfired when I bought them and were still in the box.
OT S&W counterbored cyl.

Closer to the mid 80s I believe. I bought my 25-5 in 83 and it was made in 82 I think. It has the pinned barrel.

1982 was supposed to have ended the P/R, pinned and recessed features. There are the new reissued ones that may have this. feature.

Thanks it was about 92 I bought them.Yes I noticed the pinned barrels too
