I'm in the middle of my disassembly of my Rossi 92 .357 using Steve's Guns video. I am trying to disassemble the bolt but after taking out the extractor pin and the firing pin stop pin, the firing pin won't come out of the bolt. I have the flip safety on top of the bolt and I wonder is this is what is holding this up. Steve doesn't mention it in his video.
ANY HELP SOON WOULD BE APPRECIATED!! I am disassembled in my kitchen and the wife wants her space back asap!
Anyone know what to do to remove this pesky firing pin?
HELP!!! Bought Steve's video...still having trouble with 92

Yep, we did the video before all the Rossi's had the safety. So yes, the safety has to come out in order to get the FP out.N40W111 wrote:I'm in the middle of my disassembly of my Rossi 92 .357 using Steve's Guns video. The pin that retains the stock safety is there in the cut out for the locking bolt. Drift the pin out from the left side. Take the stock safety parts out and install the plug or sight base so that the indention lines up with the pin hole. Drift the pin back in from the right.
