This holster is made in the A.W. Brill-Tom threepersons style. It fits great but I will have a hard time finding a good cartridge belt of the same period to go with it. It will be fun trying though.
Well, I have been collecting this kind of stuff since 1968. I have a lot of sources. As the older collectors begin to die out and the younger ones come in the scruples of collecting have begun to change. Instead of history and pride of preservation it's money and fakes. Just like collecting levers you have to look at as many as you can to educate yourself. Reading helps but having them in your hand is very important. You got to do your homework or you will get stung. Just my two cents.

Timothy, it is all relative. When you could pick up Colts and Winchesters for fifty bucks the average wage of a school teacher/coach was 3000.00 a year. When I started collecting in 1968 I made 5,200. a year as a T/C. Not "ALL" young collectors are unscrupulous just more than before. When an item becomes highly collectible fakes appear. My two cents.
