I'm getting ready to order some JACKETED bullets for the 1894-CL.
32-20 caliber rifle.
Looking for advice as to correct diameter, and recommended weights for jacketed bullets to use in the new Marlin.
Hopefully something that's actually IN STOCK somewhere.
Heck, while you're at it, how about pet loads?
I'm especially liking 2400 powder (its a Skeeter Skelton thing).
I already have some 115-grain cast lead bullets I'm gonna use for lighter loads that I can use in the rifle and the seriously-old S&W revolver.

If you want this for hunting I recommend the Hornady XTP's or Speer Gold Dots. Not too hard to push them along to 1800 fps from a carbine.
I'd stick with the .312" bullets and maybe even .313" cast boolits if you can find them - or cast your own...

9.5 grains of 2400 below his bullet and it shoots flat out to 100meters.

I used to use the Laser Cast bullets, but had leading issues.

I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Use .312 dia. bullets. I size my cast bullets to .314 in my Uberti 73 and Browning 53. They shoot great.
115 gr cast bullet over 7 gr. 2400 is an accurate and fun load.

I shoot the Hornady XTP 100 gr. I use a Brian Pierce load using 13 gr of H110. I haven't chronied them yet but should be between 1800fps and 1900. This is my deer load.
If you're waiting on jacketed bullets , from what I heard is that Hornady hasn't made any since last April. Can't find them any where, or Speers or Sierras. So you might be shooting cast for a while. All I have for cast is 93 gr RN I use in my 32 SW and 32 HR. I've been thinking about getting a 115gr mold.
