Hi Guys,
My wife Jo-Ann ( AKA Wyatt Twirp ) and I took our new lever action rifles out on the prairie and did some plinking this morning. I figured I'd send you guys a couple pictures of Wyatt Twirp grinning from ear to ear as she shoots her new Browning BL-22 Lever action 22 rifle.
Look close and way out beyond the duck target is a steel rabbit target that we put out at over 100 yards. That was fun to shoot at and hit.

This rabbit is over 100 yards from where we were shooting. You can't even see it in the other pictures. It was way out in front of the duck target on the other hill.
They are some great photos.(Fantastic Scenery) Wyatt looks like she is doing some fine shooting there.
Just somthing about a fine looking Lady with a gun in her hands.
Well done!

Wyatt laughed and said thank you very much for the compliment.
Nice pictures, maybe I'll head up to the Big Horns this year instead of the Snoweys for a couple weeks of camping. What are the targets hanging from the rack looking stand?

There are campgrounds on the Bighorns or you can boondock anywhere you want for free as long as your a 1/4 mile off the main road. You also have to move your camper 5 nordical miles every 2 weeks. Bring warm clothes with you, it's gets really cold up there even in summer.
Love your targets. Great to have a life partner that enjoys the same things you do. Our yellow lab was recued (not abused, just didn't have the time needed for a lab) from a women in Sheridan. She (the dog) is laying on the bed next to me and has been my constant companion for the last seven years.
Used to travel to So. Colorado two or three times a year - always stopped in Sheridan -- cheapest gas prices along the route. Always thought Sheridan would be a great place to live.
Here's a picture of Willow -- we were crusing the timber for targets of opportunity. Grouse, Coyote, Deer, Elk, Bear -- didn't see anything that day.

Yea, we went on a big loop a couple years ago; Douglas, Devils Tower (Lucked out and got the last full-hookup site during Sturgis), then over to the Big Horns (Campground north of Meadowlark Lake), then down into Thermopolis, Casper, then back to Cheyenne. That trip was a spur of the moment thing; we had just got done camping up in the Snowy Range for four days, headed back to Cheyenne to shower and wash cloths, then called the KOA up at DT and reserved the last site for the next day. Was a fun time.

Sounds like you went up the Buffalo, WY side of the Bighorns.

There is nothing like watching a dog work the fiel or woods for game. Nice dog.
Great post! Lovely scenery in all aspects. It's great that your wife enjoys the outdoors and shooting with you. I always wished either of the ladies I was married to would enjoy hunting and shooting, it just never worked out that way.

May your rifle always shoot straight, your mag never run dry, you always have one more round than you have adversaries, and your good mate always be there to watch your back.
