Prayer Request...

Post by Sarge »

for a soldier who got himself a little crossways with his superiors, over a moment's negligence. Nobody hurt besides him; and that, mostly his pride. It's gonna sting a little before it's over.

Thank you in advance

Seems like if I don't push my superiors they don't learn anything. :D But, it can get dicey. Pray everything goes okay for the lad.

Prayers of forgiveness and reconciliation sent out for that situation; even if "forgiveness" isn't in the Manual!

Prayers sent. I once got crosswise with a platoon sergeant who wanted me to affix a bayonet to my M-60. I tried to explain that there wasn't a bayoned for it, and it was more use laying out firepower. I lost a paygrade for talking back.

BTDT. Would have been E7 instead of E6 after 14 years combined active and reserve. My late maternal grandfather's words echoed in my head . . . "If you're ticked off and feel like doing something about it and you know you will feel better after doing it, it's probably the WRONG thing to do."
