Thanks everyone! We are having a great vacation. We spent 4 days in Anaheim at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. Yesterday we drove up to LA, went to see the Hollywood sign, then on down to San Diego along the coastal highway. Our hotel here on the Bay has free wifi, so now I don't feel so deprived! My wife wasn't too happy for me to have access to the internet again though! I told her today, it was my birthday so she'd just have to deal with it. We went to Sea World today, and are going to the Zoo tomorrow.

Wild animal park is soooooo much better than the zoo, but in the zoo, the humingbird facility is incredible. enjoy

Hopefully it was a peaceful day. On the east side of the country they had a fatality at Sea World yesterday when a Killer Whale killed a trainer. Everyone is acting surprised. Hello? It's note called a "hugs & kisses whale" for a reason. It is the apex predator of the seas...

Ted, you are a better man than I. Going to Disney anything, or any theme park with the hordes of people and endless lines, is torture to me!!!

YK, that's why we chose this time to go. There has not been a big crowd anywhere we've gone. I'm not a people person, but this has been a piece of cake.

YK, we did hear about the incident in Orlando. They have canceled the Shamoo show out here indefinately, so we missed that, but there was plenty of other stuff to do and we got to see them doing some training with the Orcas that was probably just about as good as the show would have been.

rjohns, Thanks for the tip about the Wild Animal Park. We were debating and leaning towards that one instead of the zoo. Now we have made up our mind.
