THIS IS REALLY NEAT.....AND NOT A JOKE....TRY IT....

This is

really amazing....Check out some of your old"haunts."

When you enter an address you will see a picture of that place.

There's a little map with a little man on it - you

can move the little man up and down the block if you need

to. I just looked at my childhood home! Really nice website!

That's neat,
I found the house I was born in. A Cedar wood house shipped over to the UK in the First World War From Michigan. :)

Pictures are out of date.

i checked my olld address in Mississippi. My old Lincoln was still siting in the front yard and I've been gone from there since last June.

Right interesting.

I believe those are from Google Earth, which has photos at different locations.

If there is any site that makes me more homesick I don't know of it.
Looking at a street map or even a satellite image of an area isn't nearly as good as being right there on the street with a 360º view.
My wife and I use the Google street views to check on houses for sale/rent we look at. Much more information than the tinsy pics the realtors give you.

Thanks for the link. The one addy I looked up has been torn down.

Wow, the picture I looked up was taken on July 14th of 2009. I know this because of the vehicle in the driveway. It doesn't belong to the owner of the house and was only visiting on that one day last year.

I saw a small car driving around my area last summer with Google stickers on it. There was a camera mounted on the roof that had lenses in all directions. I guess this is what he was doing. Kevin
