Prayer Request For Me and Mine

Howdy.
My family and I are going though a real nasty "rough patch" financially. Pretty much hit the proverbial brick wall last year and it's been sliding down a greased pole ever since. I've asked others for prayer, and now I'm asking here. I've surrendered all I have and am to GOD in prayer to use as he sees fit. GOD is beginning to do obvious works in our life, and I'm beginning to see blessings in disguise in the hindsight of all this mess, but there is a long road ahead to the promised land so to speak. Please pray that GOD delivers us from this financial wilderness while using me as a vessel and instrument to HIS glory. GOD BE PRAISED! AW

Howdy.

Thank you all. What I really need now is to dispose of several personal items and not take a horrible drubbing on the sale. In my mind, (which isn't too reliable) I need to raise $10,000.00 or so in order to hang on till the end of the school year, (preferred option since I have 3 in school) clean up and liquidate my horribly distressed property and move to greener pastures and start over. Of course all this is truly dependent on what GOD hands me. I pray for the way, the means, and the signs that what I do is HIS will and not just me grasping at straws like I've done my whole life when faced with adversity.AW

P.S.
Faith in GOD? I'm an absolute amature at this.....that's why I need EXPERIENCED help. I may be able to skin a buck, run a trotline, and hold a decent sight picture, but I've still got a lot to learn about this stuff...

Put them on the Board's classified Section..ya never know. I'm good for a couple bags of groceries or a tank of gas if it gets down to that.....

I was wondering what hapened to you Adobe. I recall you trying to sell some guns last summer that were family guns. Hope you find the means to keep your kids in school and make it all work. Will keep you and yours in prayer.

I'm not far behind you in the poverty/financial distress, just don't have kids or family to worry about. There's a couple things in the works (potential jobs/projects) that may help my situation.

AW...my prayers for you and your family. Had to retire medically in April 2008.....been a tough road but God has certainly blessed my family and I....prayers do work....

You and your family will be in my prayers. Now that you are down to the bottom and have surrendered to God, he has heard your prayer and will move in your life. Just stay in constant prayer with Him. He will bless you.

In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus says,

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? His financial peace program is working so very well for practicing believers as well as those who neither practice nor believe. I strongly recommend that you connect with him through your church or directly through an internet search.

Everything will work out. It is unfortunate that we can only see many tragedies as blessings long after they happen. But keep up the faith and know things are as they are suppose to be and you are not alone.

Prayers sent, been there a couple of times myself. AW, I've always found that during the most stressful times of my life it always helps to remember to ask for peace of mind and heart during my prayers. Sometimes being able to just put things aside for that good nights sleep makes a lot of difference the next day. HE's never failed to provide that small comfort to me.
