Hello All,
Went to the local pushers today and ended up bringing a
new toy home.(New to me.)
Its a Winchester 94AE Trapper in 30-30.
I am ashamed to admit this is the first Winchester I have owned.
Gave $400 out the door. Hope I did OK?

Why, I kin remember it was only two years ago that I paid $20 for one of those - AND, it said "MATTELL", right there on top !

Well, $400 for a lever gun with a fancy carrying handle and sling studs, I think you did all right.
darn, I gotta learn to read. I missed the "Trapper" part with both eyes open and my brain engaged. OUCH!!!
Anyway, your next assignment is to regale us with a range report with pics of targets ... paper or fur ... shot full of holes.

These days -- just about any Trapper under 600 bucks is a decent deal, so you did well!

Very nice wood...... At Cabalas, they were asking 400 for one that was falling apart and nasty.
