OT - Any friends of Bill out there?

Post by airedaleman »

I marked my 28th anniversary today, and I just wanted to thank all of you for being there for me. What a wonderful fellowship!

I thank all for their kind words of support and encouragement. I was deeply moved by this response; it means very much to me.

My tag line is Gaelic (I'm Irish on my mother's side). It translates as:

"(those) who never fled from the clash of spears"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :D

The fellowship saved my life and led me to Christ. I will be forever grateful! If I can make it to February 21st, I'll celebrate 9 years. What a miracle! :D

airedaleman, I'd be curious, as may many others, as to just what that line on the bottom of your posts means, in English, & thank you for the interpretation of it. jd45

one day at atime

Post by brucew44guns »

A lot of guys would be shocked to see how many guns they would have for free, if they added up a pack of cigs per day, or 4 or 5 beers a day, or both, for a prolonged period of time. I used to put down 3 or 4 or 5 beers a day all week, then a little more on weekends. You figure the cost of that for 15 years this coming June 18, that I would have spent for booze, and you have a pile of free lever guns. Time flies when you're having fun!! Good on you my friend.

I don't know how my wife and I have done it but Feburary 7th will be our 28th. I guess we are to stubborn to quit each other.

We also had our first grandchild December 1st.

all said and done 1980 was a very good year. And as Joe Walsh said; Life's been good to me so far.

Congratulations to all.
