Re: looking to start reloading for my 30-30's need advice
To start with your neighbors press, about all you'll need is a good set of dies (Hornady,RCBS.Lyman or Redding) some large rifle primers and bullets. If you're going to load cast bullets get a can of 5744 powder, and with jacketed either 748 or rl15 powder.
Might want to pickup a Lyman 49th Reloading Handbook.

This is an article on entry level reloading. Some may suggest a single stage press rather than the Lee Loader though. I got started in much the same way and then bought used equipment, then moved on to new stuff when I could afford it. I got a used C-H single stage press on ebay for $13.00 that was 20+ years old at the time (7 yrs. ago) and it still cranks out good, accurate ammo if I do my part. BUT, your first purchase should be a good manual with a "How To" section, Like the Lyman 49th.

Go slow, be safe, and enjoy!

You might also go to www.castbullet.com and see the different ways Junior does it. Junior used to frequent us here but he is still very helpful.
