Rossi B-92 Tang Sight Help

Post by crystal river charli »

Hello All,
I read a post some where as to what Tang Sight to use on the Rossi B-92's.
My computer gung fu is not good, and I simply can not find it.
Could some one PLEASE tell me what Marble tang sight to use.

Thank You very much and Merry Christmas to all,

Charlie

Any tang sight made for a top-eject Winchester 94 will also fit any Model 92, beit Winchester/Browning/Rossi/whatever.

Although I've owned both Marble's & Lyman tang sights, I like the Lyman #2 better on Winchesters & Marlins:

If you can find one (no longer made) a Taurus tang sight for their model 62 will fit right on the Rossi's (the usual d&t for the 'front' hole required if not already tapped). A clone of the Marble's I think. I've used several and found them well made and reliable. I got them for $29 each at Sportsmansguide.com or Cheaperthandirt.com a couple years ago.

Marbles Tang Sight for Use on a Rossi B92. (Note: The rifle version Rossis have a D&T extra hole in the tang to mount the sight while the carbine Rossis require that you have the forward hole D&T yourself). In addition, I got the Marbles tang sight at Brownells:

* 1ea Marble Rossi 1892 Peep Tang Sight - Stock no. 579-009-807 (made specifically for your Rossi '92)
* 1ea Marble Peep Tang Sight Screw set (Rossi) - Stock no. 579-000-101 (again, specifically for your Rossi '92)
