Holster for the Single Six?

Post by pullnshoot25 »

I just picked up a SWEET Ruger Single Six on a trade and I want to get a good holster for it. I need the holster to stick with me, even if I am doing jumping jacks, as well as riding horses and in off road vehicles. I need it to be a crossdraw so that I can accomplish horseback riding and carrying my rifle strongside (I am going to get a Henry H001L Carbine to complement the Single Six... I love matched pairs!)

So... does anyone know who makes a darn good holster? I will also be needing one for my 444 Ultralite as well...

Until you find the right one, or if you find it to be THE one, Uncle Mikes Sidekick holsters have never disappointed me. I have 5 revolvers that sport an Uncle Mikes. I wear mine cross draw on an Uncle Mikes holster belt. They are cheap in price, don't wear a piece very quickly and feel pretty good to me.

I like these when you can find them. It isn't clear what length barrel this one is for in the auction. Have to figure it out.

Cabelas has some great western style holsters at a great price and they are really well made and solid. Mike

Check out El Paso Saddelry. They have several styles to choose from and the quality is topnotch.

You need to get Simply Rugged to make you up a Sourdough Pancake (which will work strong side or crossdraw) for that gun. Works for me!
