XS sight

Post by RJS »

I have a xs ghost ring on my marlin 375w, just wondering if XS made a threaded ghost ring?
I thought they made one that would accept Williams apetures, but I cannot find it anywhere .
Thanks, Ron

They make it as an option, but you're not going to ever be able to "find it".

You need to call XS customer service, tell them what you want, and order one.

XS has always been glad to fill many different, non-cataloged orders for me, that also weren't on their website, either.

My bad. :(

I guess my reply of "you're never gonna find it" shoulda been more like "I'm never gonna find it".

I stand corrected - Thanks, Gents.

Not a problem, most people don't even know they make them.

rjs, Just a note: To maximize the elevation adjustment of an XS sight with a threaded insert -- you will need to use the long-shank Williams apertures.

I have an extra set (3 sizes), with the small brass ring inset in the peep (for low light conditions) called "Twilight Apertures".

PM me if you want these for 1/2 what I paid from Brownell's, plus $4 for shipping.

I use 'em on my blackpowder rifle and .22 Marlin Mountie, but this is an extra set.

Tight groups.

Glad to see this topic as my new Marlin 1895 SBL has an XS ghost sight and I was contemplating threading it for the Williams inserts..
Politicians and diapers both require frequent changing for the EXACT same reason!
