Joe - Get well, guy. As tough as things have been for you and the Mrs. recently, this will be another challenge. Expect you to recover quickly and get on with your search for a new lease on life. Hey if OI can do it, surely you can also. This too will pass!

Update - Sixgun hit it - typical Joe.

10:35PM back home.

The ER peoples did all sorts of blood tests and a cat scan. I had to dring two and a half cups of some icky stuff so they could see my insides. YUCK!!! Would have been much better with a couple shots of 100 proof Southern Comfort but they wouldn't let me. They found nothing wrong. I'm just badly constipated. We discussed the timing of the beginning of the problems with the introduction of a new medication (Terazosin). And then then the worsening of the problems when the meds dosage was doubled. ER Dr said that could well be the problem. Any change of meds can have side effects. Have discontinued this med as of right now, will tell the local foreign MD later.
Also got a prescription for a strong laxative that we'll get filled tomorrow.
So I'm not gonna die yet. That's why I didn't put it on the forum, I didn't want all those that are mad at me to start celebrating yet. Just kidding.

So now I can go ahead and celebrate my birthday Sunday by going to the gun show. It will probably be the last one cos when those med bills start coming in we're going to the poor house on a lead sled.

Fred, it looks like they did. At least for now. The ER doc made sure to tell me I still needed the colonoscopy. I told him I knew that and had not changed any of the apointments.

Wow Fred, I didn't even get to respond, you beat me too it.

Anyway, the rumors of my demise is over rated. I still feel like stuff, cos I'm full of it. And no I haven't been licking the cats. YUCK!!!!
Although that Cat Lax OI mentioned might have saved me a bunch of ER bills. The budget ( that we don't have ) is really gonna be hurtin soon.

Somebody here said they knew someone who was interested in buying my fountain pens. I forget who you are, if you see this please PM or email me. I'm gonna bust a gut

getting them inventoried.

Joe - we don't really require your presence for this little gathering, the boys were all over this little garden party without much prompt - better just send the 45 to me - easier on logistics that way.

I worked in an xray room where they did some colon work - I'm sure they have you lined up for some fun now.
