Terry Murbach - Where in the Black Hills?

Post by crs »

Terry,
I had a great mule deer hunt out from Lead one time many years ago and there is some interesting country there. Because of a blizzard, we parked our motor home in the Mt Rushmore parking lot after dark- next morning it was clear and sunny and the faces on the mountain were spectacular.
You anywhere in that area?

I've been through there a couple three times..Last year on the scoot. Wonderful country and great people. I'll bet Sturgis trys your nerves at times, though.

THE JACK FIRST STORE DROPPED THE GUNS COMPLETELY AND WENT TO SELLING NOTHING BUT GUN PARTS. THEY DO A FINE JOB OF IT TOO.

NOW, DO NOT CONFUSE ALL OF THAT WITH FIRST STOP GUN AT 7th AND MAIN IN DOWNTOWN RCSD. THEY SELL MORE GUNIRON IN A DAY THAN MOST GUNSTORES DO IN A MONTH. IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT AS FINE A GUNSTORE AS THERE IS IN THE WEST.

Terry,
Did we decide you married that cute little carhop that was working the drive-in on the West edge of RC in 1973?
She was one of the few pleasant memories of being stationed at Ellsworth.
Wandering the hills around town was another.

I was in Rapid last week for the baseball tournament. I didn't get much time to look around but the hills are extra pretty this year. It's nice to see it so green out there. We'll be back out there over Labor Day so I hope to get a chance to do a little gun shopping and some sight seeing.
