Prayers needed---officer down

Post by Thunder50 »

Our town lost one of its finest police officers Saturday night (They are all fine officers as far as I am concerned). He was responding to a domestic violence call, along with two other officers. I was told that three entered the garage, but no one came out. Officer Kinterknecht lost his life and the other two were shot in the legs, one in both, one in one leg. They are doing OK.

He left a wife, and two daughters (I am guessing 11 and 13). Was at the fair Saturday and watched one of them sell their animal, and I think he was there watching.

Please pray for the family and for all the officers in the force. They are taking it pretty hard.

I read the ODMP every day (www.odmp.org) and see what is going on (tragically) in law enforcement. It is a rememder to be thankful for their sacrifices. You can leave a message or a prayer there for the Officer(s).

that was a tragic loss... two deputies shot serving paper on a wife-beater. Now we have to pay to try this guy for 3 crimes.
A lady passing by the house got shot at this incident also.

Don't have to try the guy. Only bury him.

Tragic! Prayers sent for his family.

So sad that one worthless piece of lowlife can cause such misery to so many good people.

Knee mail for the family sent. I have a Tech at work whose husband is a Texas Highway Patrolman. Those of us at work who are Christians (no denominational arguments please) are always praying for his safety.
My Tech says that domestic violence calls are the worst.

The arraingment was today. The State will seek the death penalty. Cold comfort at this point for the family but (most of the time) Justice prevails in Oklahoma.

God Bless the Families of the Deputies.

Prayers up.
Kinda makes you wonder why anyone would want to be a Police Officer in
this day and age. Oh wait, maybe it is somebody who thinks they can make
a difference, feels the obligation to
serve, and protect the public. All
while putting their lives on the line
every duty day.
Thank God we have men and women who
feel this way.

I'm a road sergeant at my department and we went over that shooting today in roll call. Domestics are the worst. All our prayers go to the families of the wounded and the slain. RIP Brother.
