I'm trying to determine what the twist rates were for these guns. I have one which Steve Young just worked on it it doesn't seem to shoot 180 xtp very accurately. (five inch groups at 50 yards) I'm wondering if this could be due to the twist rate. He thought some of these guns may have had slow twist rates something around 1 in 38". I don't have the gun back yet so I can't check it myself. I'll try 158 gr bullets as well when I get it later this week. From what I could see from previous posts it looks like people have had success with heavy bullets with this gun.
Thanks.
Browning B92 357 twist rate

Anybody know the date codes in the serial numbers. I've been told by a B92 collector that the twist rates varied.
