So I was on the Taurus site looking at the "new" Puma line and stumbled on the Judge. It shoots a .45lc and can take a 3" .410 shotgun cartridge... So... Being a noob, I thought, well, can a 16" Rossi in a .45lc take a .410 cartridge? My gut says no. There is no easy way to feed it but I could be missing something... Can any one elaborate?

You're correct. .410 is too long. Look at the cylinder at the Judge and compare to the length of cartridge the 92 can handle.

The Taurus Judge has an extra long cylinder in order to chamber both the .45 Colt and 410 shotgun. I'm not sure how they deal with the rifling issue since I've not handled one yet.
The Puma is a short action lever gun that is meant for the short cartridges only.

No - but supposedly a .444 Marlin can fire .410's and I've heard that from several different sources.
The .444 Marlin is a long-action (336) gun, but in 'guide gun' format is no longer than an 1894 Marlin with 20" barrel, and quite handy, albeit not light weight (which is a GOOD thing when you shoot a hot .444 Marlin load in it
