Look what i got with my levergun funds!

Post by RIHMFIRE »

I was gone all day yesterday at the hunt club....
clearing the roads and cutting new trails and shooting lanes...
So today...since skeet shooting was canceled...due to the flooding...
I decided to take my wife out for lunch at the local Italian restaurant...
she paid the bill....
Well, we decided to go walk our lunch off at one of the local shopping
centers......and i got screwed......and bought this :x :x
Image

the ten year old craftman siezed up....
and there went my 86 in 45-70
at least I got lunch out of the deal

That's really nice! I have a '96 that I keep fixing. When it goes (and I hope it isn't soon) I have my eye on the 54" Husky.

I am saddened to hear of the loss of your '86 fund. Nice clipper you got as a consolation though ... and lunch.

I'm wondering if it will ever stop raining here. My lake is up over 2 feet.

What kind of groups do you get with that? How many rounds does it hold? On the bright side, maybe you can start mowing the neighbor's lawns and use the new toy to build up a gun fund! :D

Neato! Another toy! Don't forget, the man who dies with the most toys is the winner! (I still can't figure that out......but I'm determined to win :D )

Thats OK, now, you will get your levergun if you play your cards right. Pretend that the tractor is "just a tool" and you are saddened. Your wife will perk you up by telling you, "Go get that stupid gun" -------------Sixgun

Well, it's not as "fun" as a lever nor will it last as long, but it's still a really nice mower. Dad has a Husky push mower that is super sweet.

Wait a minute here - code violation, flag on the play, there are leverguns out there that have to be purchased. Or a single action USFA 4 3/4" 45 Colt or 44 Special. Bet you can't tell what I have been looking at.

I think if you got a saddle scabbard for it you would ease your pain a bit.

Well at least you can add it to your cylinder index. Is it a single or a twin ? My cylinder index is at 45 , but there is always room to add more.

It happens to us all. Was going to go on a major search for an 1886 in 33 Win, but recently got sidetracked in the local Stihl chainsaw shop, and bought a brand new MS 660 saw-----1028 bucks with tax, so the 33 has to wait, but if any big diameter firewood comes along meanwhile it is definately going into the pile soon.
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.

Good point. I'm betting that one would spill a little of his liquid refreshment if he mounted can holders on the side of his '86!

Sorry to hear about this. I would play the "mopping card" as well...

At least you got something to ride to the liquor store.

I'm way ahead of ya....
I started the front yard.....with a ice cold drink
in my new cup holder.....cruuuuuzing around
with a big smile on my face.....
and about half way done,
I asked her if she wanted to try it.....
She finished the rest of the front yard and did
the back yard too!
Now if i could only get her to do that with the
weed wacker too......I can get a lot more shoot'n in
