Just bought a Marlin 336 straight stock 30-30.
I have only seen photo's of it so far, should have it by the end of next week.
Just a question for you Marlin Men out there.
What does the MCD stand for??
Does it stand for anything at all or is it just a model number Marlin made up?
Serial number is 22029xxx, so I think that dates it as 1978?
Appears to be unfired!
Looking foward to getting it.

I thought I had seen just about every variation of the Marlin 336 ever made, but I have never even heard of this creature.
