Best Place for Ordering Reloading Components?
It's time for me to stock up.
I've used MidWayUSA in the past, but recently, I've been reading their shipping costs are a bit more than others--I just can't remember who the others are.
I was thinking of going to Starline for Brass, and Oregon Trail for bullets. If I could get both from one supplier, that might be beneficial?
Where is the best place for ordering bullets, cases, and a die or two?

I use Midway, Buffalo Arms and Grafs. I usually find grafs have the best shipping rates.

I just checked to get an idea of prices--
If I order 1000 cases of .38-55 brass from Starline, I save $50-80 over Graf and MidWay. (I don't have a .38-55 yet, but I'm working on it!)--On the other hand, I really don't need 1000 cases for this caliber!
Thanks for your suggestions, Fellows. I'll make a list today, and likely order tomorrow.

...I've been "drilled" by MidwayUSA, so I use them only when they have something in stock no one else has.
...Had good results from Midsouth and Wideners, so use them when possible.
...Have been looking at Powder Valley, Inc., and will be ordering from them soon.
...It pays to check several places, and compare.

Midway has served me well for several years. My FFL gets me a nice little discount and they ship fast. I don't mind paying a tad more for shipping, either.

They are a Leverguns.com sponsor as well. They are good folks who will make what you need. They are the most accurate bullets I have used out of my 356 Win.

Also try Buffalo Arms for oddball brass and dies. Thier prices for run of the mill stuff wont match the big discount places, but nobody beats them for the odd stuff.

One supplier you guys have overlooked is: www.armsandammo.com
Arms and Ammo is in Ash Grove, Mo and up until recently was the cheapest place I could find for brass and bullets. I buy almost all my powder and primers from them, but I live close enough that I pick'em up. Midway has the largest catalog and usually ships immediately. Both companys are nice people. Tom

For dies, brass & sometimes bullets I use Huntington. When they don't have a die set, neither does the factory. But, powder, common brass, bulltets & primers I usually buy locally. Plus, it's fun the pick the brains of fellars that actually use some of this stuff, instead of some salesman, or phone clerk. The internet leaves some to be desired in that regard.

I've met these folks in person. darn nice folks, GREAT prices. I can actually save money by driving 40 miles to get there, and I live in a town with a Gander Mountain AND a Sportsmans Warehouse!
