So many guys on here screaming for pictures. How much would it cost me if I went tomorrow and got the camera that can do all the picture taking and the other accessory items to get them on the forum? Probably would prefer to buy another rifle.

I just ordered my first levergun today. A Marlin 336C, and after a lot of exhaustive consideration, in 35 Remington. Hopefully they will be able to track one down. As I was leaving, a guy called in saying he was planning to order 7 Marlins!! People are indeed freakin' out over this whole thing. I guess they're reminded too much of the Winchester tragedy.

It doesn't cost that much to post basic pictures. You can go to http://www.geeks.com and find a good basic "point and shoot" camera for under $100 (perhaps under $50) and also pick up an extra memory card for it and a card reader - all for under $100 including shipping. Hosting of pics can be had for free. So all that's left is time to learn how - and it's easy once you understand the basics. Now, there's rifles out there for under $100, but VERY few leverguns in that price range. :)

I just turned one down at the local pawn. $280 for a 39A made in '83. Looking at a Winchester 74 though. Course I already have three of the 39s in different configurations! :D

I ran across a tiny "keychain" digital camera for $10.00. Haven't used it yet, but looks like fun. Probably more pixels than the expensive model I bought ten years ago.
