OT - Will be quiet for a while

Post by rjohns94 »

Leaving tomorrow for Ethiopia, be gone a week. In that time, I have to meet with the officials of the Govt Water Board, the town Mayor and planners, to have them take care of the Memo of Agreements they signed. The well is drilled, we will be finishing up testing this Monday. The town needs to put up the three buildings to house the well head and the chlorinators, and dig the trenches for the piping. I will also be delivering a new pump for installation. Lots to do with little ground time. Asking selfishly for your prayers for all to go well there and in my class at JHU as all of their projects are coming due soon too. Thanks for your prayers and blessings to you all.

It is encouraging to realize that there are lots of good people out there doing good things. Sometimes all the media tells us about are the crooked politicians, criminals, and welfare leeches.

Thank you all for your prayers. This trip is a bit different than my other trips, since I am traveling alone, taking no group. I will be working through translators to get the message acrosss and the work done. Once again, thanks for the prayers - be well. Blessings.
