crossbolt replacement

OK, i had a bunch of threads saved fromt the other board about the replacements for the crossbolt safeties using catridge cases but now I cant get to them. You who have used cases to fill the holes left from removing the safety how did you do it? Took the safety out of my .45 trapper and want to use a .45 case.
