perfect period style. Just some trivial stuff you may want to know.
The sling swivels did not start until 1957, but since this looks like a rifle that went into the field, to put meat on the table, they look great.
Marlin did not offer the D&T barrel until 1954 and stopped in 1957 when they started D&Ting the receiver. Your rifle looks great with the period scope.
If you ever want to get the correct ramped front sight assembly and rear sight you can call these guys.
